General
- By paying any amount towards your project, you confirm acceptance of JDAC Hydroworks Ltd’s Terms and Conditions and the commencement of works outlined in your estimate.
- Prices for materials or services may be subject to change, but any changes will always be discussed and agreed before work begins.
- JDAC Hydroworks Ltd provides detailed written estimates, not itemised quotations. All costs and descriptions of works are clearly stated prior to commencement.
- We provide estimated start dates for all projects. While we always aim to begin on the agreed date, schedules may occasionally change due to material supply issues, previous job overruns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, JDAC Hydroworks Ltd will keep you informed and reschedule your work at the earliest convenient time.
- During installation or repair work, flooring, tiles, ceilings, or walls may need to be accessed. We will make every effort to return them as close to their original condition as possible. However, we do not carry out decorating, plastering, or making good unless agreed in writing beforehand.
- If, once work begins, unforeseen issues arise (for example with walls, floors, pipework, or joists), additional costs may apply. Any such changes will be discussed and approved before continuing.
- JDAC Hydroworks Ltd may take photos of works before, during, and after completion for record keeping and marketing purposes (e.g., website or social media). No personal or identifying details will be shared without consent.
- JDAC Hydroworks Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on request or via our website.
Payment Terms
- A £200 non-refundable booking deposit is required to confirm your estimated start date.
- Start dates can only be held for 72 hours after sending the estimate unless a booking deposit has been received.
- Seven (7) days before work commences, 50% of the total estimated amount (minus the £200 already paid) is due.
- The remaining 50% balance is payable immediately upon completion of the works.
- Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, or card via Stripe payment link.
- If final payment is not received within 7 days of completion, a 5% daily late fee will apply. Failure to pay within 14 days may result in the matter being passed to a debt collection agency or legal action.
- Customers are liable for any legal, collection, or court fees incurred in recovering unpaid balances.
- If works are stopped by the customer for any reason, JDAC Hydroworks Ltd will issue a final invoice for all completed labour and materials up to that date.
- If access to the property is unavailable, or if other trades or customer-supplied materials cause delays, daily delay charges (typically £300 per day) may apply.
- All materials and products remain the property of JDAC Hydroworks Ltd until full and final payment is received.
Materials and Supplies
- JDAC Hydroworks Ltd supplies all necessary materials and consumables for the installation, such as adhesives, silicones, plumbing parts, tiling supplies, and waste disposal (e.g., skip hire).
- Customers are responsible for providing fixtures and fittings such as sanitaryware, taps, showers, and tiles, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- JDAC Hydroworks Ltd is not responsible for the quality, suitability, or compatibility of any materials supplied by the customer. However, we’re always happy to discuss your chosen products before work begins to check compatibility and help ensure everything runs smoothly once the installation starts.
Cancellations and Delays
- The £200 booking deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your booking at any time, this amount will be retained to cover administrative and scheduling costs.
- JDAC Hydroworks Ltd may adjust start dates by up to 3 days due to unforeseen scheduling or delivery delays. For longer changes, we will always give as much notice as possible.
- In the rare event that JDAC Hydroworks Ltd must cancel a project, any payments made (except for completed works or materials already supplied) will be refunded in full.
Warranty and Guarantees
- Any snags or damage must be reported within 48 hours of completion. We aim to resolve all valid issues promptly.
- Warranty repairs or adjustments will only be carried out once full payment has been received.
- All workmanship by JDAC Hydroworks Ltd is covered by a 12-month guarantee from the date of completion.
- Silicone sealant work is covered by a 3-month warranty due to natural wear and maintenance factors.
- No warranty is offered for customer-supplied materials or for work affected by other trades not arranged by JDAC Hydroworks Ltd.
- We are not liable for faults arising in existing systems (such as boilers, radiators, or electrical circuits) connected to areas where we have carried out work.
- JDAC Hydroworks Ltd cannot accept liability for issues with stopcocks or valves that arise after being operated during the course of our work.
Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must ensure access to the property during working hours and confirm that electricity and water supplies are available.
- Customers are responsible for removing personal belongings and protecting furniture or flooring in work areas, unless otherwise agreed.
- Any additional requirements or changes to the agreed scope of work must be discussed and approved in writing.
